If You Haven’t Read This, Please Start Here

If you are visiting here for the first time, please read the Story Begins Page first: https://libby.life/the-story-begins/ before you read further.

If you are returning, we invite you to share the journey through the Journal. Libby feels strongly that this website is not about HER. It is about sharing all of our journeys together. Everyone is going through something. We invite you to go to the Contact page and send us a blurb and one of us will reach out to you explain how to share on the website.

Once there are multiple stories here, you will be able to read through all of the Journal or read it by “category,” which will allow you to sort by name, etc.

The most recent posts are at the top, so to begin at the “beginning,” you should scroll all the way down to the first post.

And again, we do not want this to be on social media but you can forward the link to others who would want to be in the loop. Just friends and family sharing with friends and family. Thank you for being with us on our journey!

If you are reading on your phone, when you scroll, look at the bottom of the screen.  A little “Follow” icon shows up. You can put your email address in there if you want to get an email when there is a new post.

  3. Baby as Gary Stevens said after riding one of only 3 fillies to have won the KD, specifically Winning Colors, “I was a passenger on a lightning bolt”. You give that damned cancer some lightning back.
I only have one grace chip to send you. I love you.

    1. Edith, I’ll take your Grace chip, double down and give it right back! I’m bathing in Grace down here. I’m pedaling on a two seat bike with our Good Lord. I won’t stop pedaling until this cancer is gone! I Love you sister! When do I get to see you next?

Words can’t express adequately my thoughts or feelings right now as I finally reach out and get to read from all your life friends sharing their love and prayers with you. Lifelong friends are hard to find and harder to keep; you are definitely worth it Sister! I know you will keep fighting the fight no matter what life throws at you; its what you do. All the Sims are fighters thats for sure. I know you have been wearing your big girl panties for a long time now so don’t discard the now 🙂 Sending all my love to you and your entire family. Ill keep up with your Mom and Dad no worries. They have come to fill an empty place in my heart since Mom and Dad passed 🙂 Love you tons!

  11. Libby! It has been so long since we played tennis at Piedmont Park but your story of love amazes me! Love you and the memories of special times. I have a young friend in your field – Cerrie Gammons. I have told her often to look you up. She is a wonderful heart like you.
