From Libby

IMG_4973I’m feeling great today. Alex is here and we are about to go over to Fernbank. My nausea is being managed well. I slept well last night. BP and temp are normal. Wbc 4.2, platelets, hemoglobin, are in good shape. Sinus infection is better!

Beautiful day! God is good. Praise Him. I am lifted up with all of the love and cards and thoughtful gifts and texts and emails. I am surrounded with Gods love and my sweet family and I am blessed beyond belief. I’d like to dedicate this day to my dear friend Tracey Stewart who lost her life from complications from lung cancer yesterday. She was an amazing light in this world. I can’t wait to see her again one day.

  3. Dear Libby, I’m so sorry to hear that you lost your friend. This muddle we call Life just keeps throwing things at us as if our own challenges weren’t already enough.

I’m also glad to see young handsome man Alex. Do you remember that lunch we had together right before he was born, and you were rather larger in size than normal. Hard to believe the wonder of who he is started in that overblown basket you carried for 9 months. He’s a peach! I know you’re happy he’s there. Carl’s buttons are probably about to pop off with pride. I remember when Carl took Alex to Dragon Con because you wouldn’t let him go alone. Wish I could have trailed after them with a camera.

Keep feeling better. Happy to hear you’re having a good day. High time!
