Libby is finally home.
As you know, they were doing a super deep clean of their house to be sure it is as sterile as possible. It took a little longer than expected, so in the meantime Libby has been convalescing at Aunt C and Uncle R’s house.
Her house was finally ready for her and she moved home yesterday. They are still finishing a few projects, but she was READY! After being gone for over a month, it was wonderful to sleep in her own bed!
Libby is still in a constant war against nausea, but it usually is well managed. Otherwise, she is feeling a little stronger every day. Her numbers look better at every appointment. She has needed extra fluids and magnesium and things like that, but nothing out of the ordinary. The doctors are so pleased with her recovery so far. And, as you can tell, Doc is his usual silly self!
She still has to limit visitors but reads your comments here, even if she doesn’t respond to each of them. 🙂
